Community Christmas Tree Festival 2022

We are so excited to announce that we will be holding a Christmas Tree Festival this year in December.

The event will take place on:
Friday 16th December 10.00am-2.00pm
Saturday 17th December 10.00 am-4.00 pm
Sunday 18th December 2.00 pm-6.00 pm

The trees will be located in and around the Church and the Church Centre, and once you have enjoyed the trees, festive refreshments will be on offer in the Church Centre.

Father Christmas will be setting up his grotto in the Church and will be there on Friday 16th December from 12 noon – 2.00 pm and on Saturday 17th December from 10.30 am – 3.30 pm – he has said he may need to pop out for a lunch of mince pies and hot chocolate at some stage on Saturday though!

The entrance fee will be £1 for adults, children free and Father Christmas’ grotto will be £2.50 per child.

Sponsorship – If you are a local business or one of our Regular groups, please do contact us if you are interested in decorating a tree for the festival. Sponsorship of a tree costs £20/£40/£50 depending on the size of tree you are interested in and what is still available. You will be mentioned in our programme and we will be having a “meet the sponsors” space in the Church Centre so that you can display your leaflets/business information, and we will provide you with a poster to advertise the event for your premises/group. For more details, email us at allsaintsfouroaks@yahoo.co.uk or click here for our contact form. Closing date for applications for sponsors will be Saturday 3rd December 2022.

Autumn Quiz Night

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at the Church Centre

“Lovely food”
“So nice to have us all together”
“Great to see the children having fun”
“Delicious food”
“The hall looks fabulous, so festive”
“It just had to be Coronation Chicken!”

Just some of the comments from our very successful Jubilee Lunch.

The bunting was up, festive cloths at the ready, Coronation Chicken prepared and away we went.

The strains of Pomp and Circumstance, Land of Hope and Glory and Golden Years from David Bowie played in the background.

It was really lovely to join together and enjoy food and fellowship. A real community occasion, smiling faces, happy children and adults.

A super way to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of our Queen who has served us diligently as a firm defender of our faith and a fine example of service to others.

Something to Celebrate!!

All Saints’ Bar is re-opening and we will be holding a launch BBQ on Friday 23rd July for our members.

Please contact the office email address to let us know if you are coming as numbers are obviously limited. Places will be on a first come, first served basis, so don’t delay.

You will notice lots of changes in the building relating to the mitigations we have put in place for Covid-19. Masks must be worn in the communal areas of the entrance and bathrooms (unless you are exempt) but can be removed when seated at your table. We will be operating table service so please do not approach the Bar, you just need to catch the eye of our wonderful bar staff and they will come to you.

The size of the bar area does mean that tables and chairs have been spaced as they need to be and should not be moved. We are also unable to operate a one way system, so please be mindful of the signage advising what side of the entrance to use and keep up that social distancing.
