Birthday parties are special at any age but particularly for children. What could be better than having a funny magician, balloon animals, bouncy castles or even a whole themed party of dinosaurs and unicorns!!
And even if you decide to do the entertainment yourselves we also have a sound system with speakers built into the ceiling of both halls in the Centre which can be added to your booking – perfect for that children’s playlist on your phone.
Our Children’s parties are held on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm for a set 4 hour booking, which allows plenty of time for set up, party and tidy up. If your child is very young or not yet of school age we can also hold parties in the Centre during the week, just let us know when you contact us.
Many people holding Children’s parties tend to hire out both of the Centre halls at the same time, allowing for a space for entertainment and party shenanigans and a separate space for you and your helpers to set out the party food while the merriment takes place (and also a space for your guest’s parents to partake in a welcome cup of tea or coffee!) It also allows access to the kitchen directly from the party room. The folding doors can be opened to create one large party space.
To make hosting your little ones party even easier your adult guests can take a seat in the bar seating area and make the most of our bean to cup coffee machine for only £1.50 for a large mug.
The use of our commercial kitchen for the preparation and setting up of food is only an additional £15 for the duration of your session, access can be directly from the Robert Thornley Hall, or if just using the Sam Perry Hall, access is via the Bar seating area. We can provide glass jugs for squash but you will need to bring your own party plates and cups.
Please don’t ask us to open the bar for Children’s parties as it is simply something that we do not do.
